So if you want to be one of a select few members of the public to enter the Seven Heads lavender farm and head off on a dreamy lavender-picking adventure, this is your chance to nab a ticket for this weekend.
The picturesque Courtmacsherry farm, which is not open to the public, is holding a small series of events where fans of all things floral and fabulous can pick their own lavender.
The next one is this Sunday, July 21st ( timeslots are available from 10:30am – 3pm).
Your €22.50 ticket includes a welcome pack including a basket, scissors, elastic bands and a gift bag to cut, bundle and take home your lavender.
Three lavender bundles are included in the ticket price and complimentary teas and coffee will be served to guests as well as a treat box to enjoy.
“We will have picnic blankets and chairs to make your experience enjoyable.” a spokesperson added.
