The gallery has a long and rich history of enabling the public to view and buy art and has over the years, introduced many new artists to Cork audiences, whose work they might not have otherwise seen.
As well as showing the work of national and international artists, the gallery has promoted and encouraged lots of emerging artists, especially through its annual Student of the Year award. Our 800 square feet of exhibition space spans two floors and incorporates a wide range of art styles, ranging from the traditional to the latest contemporary styles. The gallery is a registered charity and is a not for profit organisation.

2020 was born in July 2009 and started out as a small gallery in one of the country’s hubs of creativity, Ballydehob in West Cork. It didn’t take long to realize that demand from artists and collectors was such that a much bigger space was needed so I moved the gallery up to Cork City just before Christmas 2010.
Sharing and homing Irish artwork with the people of Cork and beyond is a wonderful, exciting thing to do every day. Having always believed in the value of chasing your passions I am lucky enough to be chasing mine!!"
