It’s so good it’s become an annual trip for many.
Kanturk’s Yumm Café is once again rolling out the blood-red carpet for Halloween visitors.
Petra Kriva, the scarily talented head chef and owner at the village bakery and coffee spot has conjured up a frighteningly fantastic selection of ghoulish goodies for her customers.
Forget trick-or-treating, this October, Yumm Cafe is the real Halloween HQ. They’ve transformed their space into a spooky wonderland, guaranteed to send shivers (of delight) down your spine.
First things first: the drinks. Imagine a steaming mug of zombie-themed hot chocolate, complete with a mountain of fresh cream and a creepy-cute drizzle of syrup. Need something a little colder? Sink your teeth into a leering bubble waffle cone filled with your ice cream of choice.
Now, onto the eats. The Halloween spirit is in everything from their monstrously good cookies – think spiders and pumpkins galore – to their ridiculously rich chocolate brownies decorated with miniature tombstones, ghosts, bats, and mummies.
But it’s not all about the spooky fun.
For those seeking a more autumnal vibe, the pumpkin crumble brioche bun is a must-try. Warm and gooey, it’s practically a religious experience. And if you need a caffeine fix with a seasonal twist, their freshly baked pumpkin loaf, pumpkin swirls, and pumpkin spice French toast will have your taste buds singing.
Basically, Yum Cafe is catering to every Halloween craving, both kid-approved and grown-up-worthy.
