And now another raft of Cork producers have been shortlisted for Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards for 2023.
The finalists, announced today, will join more than 3,000 of Ireland’s best makers, bakers, and creatives in the seaside town of Dingle for a three-day judging event starting on Thursday, September 28th.
Shorlisted Cork businesses include the Kinsale Spirit Company, Dunmanway’s Gloun Cross Dairy, Original 7 Beverage Co, and On the Pig’s Back.
“The Blas na hÉireann awards are the highlight of the year for Cork producers as it pits their produce against the best that this country has to offer,” said Joe Burke, Assistant Head of Enterprise, LEO South Cork.
“We are very fortunate to have such awards that provide consumers’ reassurance of the quality and excellence of our producers.”
