The Franciscan Well crew took to social media today to thank a very honest customer for returning one of their weighty beer glasses… five years after it was taken.
The glass was accompanied by a tenner plus a letter
“Hello. I stole this glass a few years ago from your bar and it is important to me and I want to repent of this. That is why you will find the glass in this package as well as more than its value in order to get you double.
“I am so sorry I stole this glass.”
The letter is signed M Yahusha from France.
“This morning, we received one of our old steins, over five years old, mailed back to us from France… with interest!” the Franciscan Well posted on Instagram.
“Cheers to the most honest customer we’ve ever had!”
