BARE

1 April @ 7:00 pm - 5 April @ 10:00 pm
€10

Bare is an intimate, immersive theatre experience that invites audiences into a living gallery of human vulnerability. Set within a museum-style space, the production presents a collection of “live exhibits” — individuals suspended in moments of emotional and psychological exposure. Each character stands at a crossroads, grappling with private struggles, inner conflicts, and the quiet battles that shape their lives. There is no fourth wall here. Instead, the audience steps inside the world of the piece, moving through the space as witnesses to raw, unfiltered humanity.

In keeping with its title, the characters are entirely nude — physically, emotionally, and mentally laid bare. Their nudity is not ornamental, but symbolic: a stripping away of armour, status, and disguise. In this state of total exposure, they share the truths they carry, inviting the audience to encounter them without barrier or pretence.

Bare offers an invitation to engage. Audience members decide which character’s story unfolds, choosing who will share and how deeply the encounter goes. They may ask questions, enter into conversation, or even offer their own experiences in response. The performance shifts and reshapes according to the curiosity, empathy, and courage in the room. Some may choose to simply observe; others may step into dialogue. With audiences admitted in small groups for one-hour sessions, each experience becomes distinct — a shared, ephemeral exploration of connection, confession, and the fragile beauty of being truly seen.
