Bonnie was showing off some of her amazing moves on the RTE chat show but she also tried to get Sinead and Daithi involved as she attempted to teach them some dance moves.

For one of the moves Bonnie was showing the audience how to twerk and Daithi and Sinead both attempted along with her with hilarious results.

Speaking about Daithi’s attempt, the Winning Streak star said: “Bit of a dad dancing of a Tuesday. Daithi’s going to twerk on national telly. I have been waiting for this moment for quite some time.”

DANCING DAITHI

Sinead was in stitches at Daithi’s attempt at dancing but unfortuantely the pair didn’t join in for the full routine at the end.

This comes after fellow Today presenter Maura Derrane recently revealed that she decided to take a step back from her chat show Today to “prioritise family”.

It was announced earlier this year that Sinead would be joining the Today show on RTE One and she would be presenting two days while Maura presented the rest.

Maura revealed that she wanted to spend more time with her family especially with her son Cal.

TAKING A STEP BACK

The RTE presenter spoke with the Irish examiner and said: “I wanted to make time for Cal. I’ve been doing this eight years now and it’s time to step back a little and prioritise family.

“I’ve been on live TV since 1996 and afternoon TV for 11 years. It’s time to take a little break.”

Maura went on to say that RTE was very understanding with the new move and she said that it feels like the right time for the change.

She continued: “RTE was great, they really were. I love the show, it’s my baby. I’ve always been very career oriented but this feels like a natural time for a change, it feels organic.

“Cal is going into senior infants. I want to collect him from school to do his homework. At this age, I’m his friend – I’m his everything.

“I have nothing to prove to anyone, and not just to other people, but to myself.”
