Man, 20s, seriously injured after motorbike crash in Mallow, Co Cork, as road closed to traffic and garda appeal made

A MAN has suffered serious injuries after a motorbike crash in Co Cork last night.

The man, 20s, was driving the vehicle at Nohoval Upper at Knocknagree in Mallow when he crashed at around 6.30pm.

He was rushed to Cork University Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

No other injuries were reported during the collision.

The road has been closed to allow for a forensic exam with local diversions also in place.

Gardai are now appealing for witnesses of the crash. to come forward.

A spokesperson added: “Gardai are particularly appealing to any road users who were travelling on this road at the time with camera footage to make this available to them.
