Now Cork pet lovers are sharing their favourite dog-friendly spots, from eateries where you and your furry friend can share a pizza to coffee shops and bars that go the extra mile with water bowls and treats for thirsty canine visitors.

Cafe Moly, Douglas Street, Cork City
While there’s no outdoor seating at this popular coffee shop, dogs are welcome inside.
“Might not be suitable for large dogs due to cramped spaces but staff are happy to see all breeds visiting!” the customers said.
“Water is available at the door for the four-legged guests. AMAZING coffee and pastry selection, an absolutely delicious range of goodies. Proper coffee connoisseurs with lots of blends to try and a friendly chat to be had!”
Fionnbara, Douglas Street, Cork City
A longtime favourite amongst folks who like to drink and eat pizza with their dogs, Fionnbarra boasts a big heated beer garden and has water bowls available for guests of the furry variety. “The staff are so kind and welcoming to dogs.” the reviewer noted.
Impala, Paradise Place, Cork City
This chill bar earned praise for its “great vibes and lovely staff,” with water bowls, treats and plenty of cuddles to be had to visiting dogs.
“The bar can be quite busy on the weekends but there’s lots of nooks and crannies dogs can be safely placed in to stay out from underfoot,” they added.
Alchemy Coffee, Barrack Street
“Called into Alchemy on Barracks Street the other day and in the five minutes it took me to order pay and receive my coffee, there were four dogs in and out of the shop PLUS the two I had with me! Talk about a local dog-friendly spot!”

A traditional Irish bar with both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a semi-covered beer garden at the back, dogs of all sizes are welcome inside and out and staff are always happy to see them visit.
