BROWN Thomas is offering a scintillating selection of items to warm the house this winter – including ‘true to life’ Christmas trees.
The Irish department store has launched The Christmas Shop in four stores across in country in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway today – 127 days before the big day,
The Christmas Shop will this year include a selection of artificial Christmas trees developed from branch cuttings from trees found in nature.
Brown Thomas reckon their “true to life” trees are some of the “most realistic trees” on the market.
‘TRUE TO LIFE’ TREES
Brown Thomas Ireland have unveiled an “unrivalled” mix of festive offerings including “striking” decorative items.
A spokesperson said: “This year the Christmas Shop features a selection of ‘true to life’ trees, a collection of artificial Christmas trees developed with actual branch cuttings from trees found in nature, making them some of the most realistic trees on the market.
“The Christmas Shop will also offer a range of winter themed wreaths and garlands to compliment the tree selection from brands including Paper Daisy, an Irish company based in Cork offering dried flower wreaths and DIY wreath making kits for all the family to enjoy making at home.”
The chain store, which is Wittington Investments and Weston family-owned, have also said that there will be a “most impressive” selection of lights, stockings, wreaths, crackers and garlands across a special curation of themes.
The Xmas store will include an array of decorations in specially picked themes such as The Nutcracker, Midnight Joy, Enchanted Forest, Those Who Shine and Winter Glow.
The Nutcracker collection of festive items includes items in ox-blood and light gold hues that will create luxurious holiday warmth at home.
Midnight Joy will include white, blue, silver and navy ornaments which Brown Thomas have said will show romance in the home.
The Enchanted Forest will show off yellow, green and pink ornaments in tones of magnolia, sage and blush which the store hopes will evoke romance.
Those Who Shine will display tones pearl and gold items expected to bring timeless elegance to the home.
And the Winter Glow section of the store will display autumnal tones to bring a rustic edge to your home during the Christmas period.
Rachel Morgans, Brown Thomas Buying Director for Home & Living said the store will be offering “exquisite” hot items for the holidays.

“We take pride in sourcing the most beautiful decorations with strong demand from customers from the time we open; baubles and decorations are hugely popular from the beginning of the season and Christmas trees start to sell out by early November.”
