AN appeal has been issued for information in a bid to trace the whereabouts of a young Irish lad who has vanished in New York.
Ryan Cody, who is originally from Fermoy in Cork, was last seen in Forest Hills, Queens outside of Austin Public pub on Saturday at 8pm.
In a Facebook post yesterday, the 23-year-old’s brother Anthony Cody shared that the family have “still heard nothing about Ryan’s whereabouts or anything related to his disappearance”.
He added: “The cops in America are doing little to help us.
“I’m appealing for anybody in that area to get out and search for Ryan. Any Irish people out there try come together and bring my baby brother home please.
“Any information of any sighting after 8pm on Saturday night could be vital.”
‘BRING RYAN HOME’
And the family have also set up a GoFundMe page called Bring Ryan Home, which currently has collected almost €4,000 in donations.
In an earlier post, Ryan’s family shared that anybody who spoke to him on Saturday said he was “very disorientated and confused”, and that they are “extremely worried” about him.
Ryan is six foot two or three, has blonde hair and a samurai tattoo on his left arm.
